At Speak Easy Co, we are committed to delivering quality, transparency, and clear communication across our jewelry, custom pieces, and luxury watch offerings. Please review this Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.

Because many of our products are custom-made, sourced specifically for a client, or considered high-value luxury goods, return eligibility varies by product type.

Luxury Watches

All watch sales are final.

This includes unworn-condition, preowned, vintage, antique, custom, modified, diamond-set, or personalized watches.

Luxury watches are sourced through the secondary/open market and are handled through direct consultation. Watches are inquiry-only, not available for website checkout, and not processed through Shopify Payments. Watch transactions are completed by bank wire only after confirmation of availability, condition, documentation, current market pricing, payment instructions, and shipping requirements.

We encourage every client to take the time needed to ask questions, review details, and feel fully confident before completing a watch transaction. Our goal is to provide a no-pressure, no-rush experience so each client can make an informed decision.

Unworn-Condition Watches

Unworn-condition watches are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

“Unworn-condition” means the watch is presented as unused or unworn to the best of our knowledge, while still being sourced through the secondary/open market rather than sold as new inventory by an authorized dealer.

Once an unworn-condition watch is delivered to a client, it can no longer be represented by our company in the same unworn-condition status. For this reason, all unworn-condition watch sales are final.

Before completing a watch transaction, we recommend confirming all details, including model, reference number, condition, market pricing, box, warranty card, accompanying materials, service history when applicable, and payment instructions.

Preowned, Vintage & Antique Watches

Preowned, vintage, and antique watches are carefully reviewed prior to sale. These watches may vary in condition, parts history, service history, documentation, and included accessories.

Any known aftermarket parts, replacement components, condition notes, service history, or included accessories will be disclosed before purchase when applicable.

Because preowned, vintage, and antique watches are unique and condition-specific, all sales are final.

Custom, Modified & Diamond-Set Watches

Custom watches, including diamond-set, modified, aftermarket, engraved, or personalized timepieces, are made or altered specifically for the purchasing client.

These modifications are performed outside of the original watch brand’s authorized manufacturing process and are not approved, sponsored, or endorsed by the original brand.

Because custom and modified watches are unique to the client’s selected specifications and are not easily resold in the same manner, all custom, modified, and diamond-set watch sales are final.

Custom Jewelry

All custom jewelry sales are final.

Custom jewelry is designed and produced specifically for each client based on selected materials, dimensions, stones, design details, and budget. Because these pieces are made to order, they cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded once production has begun.

Before confirming a custom order, clients should carefully review all details, including metal type, diamond or gemstone selection, sizing, design notes, estimated production timeline, and final pricing.

Deposits and payments made toward custom jewelry are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by Speak Easy Co.

Non-Custom Jewelry

For eligible non-custom jewelry, Speak Easy Co offers a 3-day return window from the date of delivery.

To request a return, you must contact us within 3 days of delivery. Items returned without prior approval may be refused.

Eligible non-custom jewelry must meet all of the following conditions:

• The item must be unworn, unused, undamaged, and in its original condition.
• The item must include all original packaging, certificates, tags, receipts, appraisals, and documentation, when applicable.
• The item must not be altered, resized, engraved, modified, or damaged in any way.
• The item must not fall under the exclusions listed in this policy.

Restocking Fee

Approved returns for eligible non-custom jewelry are subject to a 30% restocking fee.

This fee helps cover inspection, processing, merchant fees, administrative costs, and restocking expenses. The restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Return Shipping

The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged, defective, or incorrect due to an error by Speak Easy Co.

Returned items must be shipped using a trackable and fully insured shipping method. Speak Easy Co is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged during return transit.

Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must be received and inspected before any refund is approved.

Speak Easy Co reserves the right to deny a return or refund if the item:

• Shows signs of wear, damage, alteration, or use.
• Is missing original packaging, certificates, documentation, or included accessories.
• Has been resized, engraved, modified, tampered with, or altered in any way.
• Does not match the condition in which it was originally delivered.
• Is returned outside the approved return window.
• Was returned without prior written approval.

If a return is denied, the item may be returned to the buyer at the buyer’s expense.

Refund Process

Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the refund status.

If approved:

• The refund will be issued to the original payment method when possible.
• The 30% restocking fee and any applicable deductions will be subtracted from the refund.
• Refund processing may take 5–7 business days, depending on your payment provider or financial institution.

Original shipping charges, insurance costs, processing fees, rush fees, design fees, labor fees, sourcing fees, appraisal fees, and other service-related fees are non-refundable unless otherwise approved in writing.

Exclusions

The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

• Luxury watches of any kind.
• Unworn-condition watches.
• Preowned, vintage, or antique watches.
• Custom, modified, diamond-set, aftermarket, or personalized watches.
• Custom jewelry.
• Special orders.
• Made-to-order items.
• Personalized, engraved, resized, altered, or modified items.
• Earrings, for hygiene reasons.
• Grillz, tooth gems, or oral jewelry, for hygiene reasons.
• Items purchased during special promotions, discounts, or clearance sales.
• Items damaged due to misuse, improper care, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.
• Deposits, design fees, CAD fees, labor fees, sourcing fees, rush fees, appraisal fees, and service fees.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include your order information, photos, and a description of the issue. Once reviewed, we will provide instructions for next steps.

If the issue is confirmed to be the responsibility of Speak Easy Co, we may offer a repair, replacement, exchange, or refund depending on the situation. In approved cases, we may also cover applicable return shipping costs.

Damage caused by normal wear, improper handling, misuse, accidents, third-party modifications, unauthorized repairs, or failure to follow care instructions is not considered a defect.

Order Cancellations

Orders for custom jewelry, custom watches, special orders, sourced watches, sourced stones, and made-to-order items may not be cancelled once work has begun, materials have been purchased, stones have been sourced, or a watch has been secured for the client.

Cancellation requests for eligible non-custom items may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but approval is not guaranteed.

Independent Reseller Notice for Watches

Speak Easy Co is an independent luxury watch reseller and is not an authorized dealer for Rolex or any other watch brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by Rolex or any other watch brand.

All brand names, trademarks, and model names are used for identification purposes only. Rolex and all related model names are trademarks of their respective owner.

Policy Updates

Speak Easy Co reserves the right to update or modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The version posted on our website at the time of purchase will apply to that purchase.
