Inspired by the sunken treasure of the legendary Atocha shipwreck, the Barrel of Beryls brings history, myth, and craftsmanship together in a singular statement piece. This pendant pays homage to the lost riches of the deep — reimagined as a gold barrel encasing emeralds of exceptional color.
Meticulously crafted in 18K yellow gold and weighing approximately 29 grams, this design features a cage-like barrel filled with ~4.82 carats of natural emeralds. A pavé-set bail adorned with ~0.64 carats of colorless VVS clarity lab-grown diamonds adds refinement and brilliance.
With a total height of 31.75mm (including the bail), the piece is shown here with a 3mm chain (sold separately) to illustrate scale. Rich in detail and symbolism, the Barrel of Beryls is as much an object of wonder as it is a work of jewelry.
